The media could not be loaded.  For a home DIY guy like me, this is excellent stuff, turns off to save battery between those long unused stints. Accurate, xan set my mitre saw perfectly to it.But though the body and blade are metal, thf hinger, battery cover and hook end are all plastic, so not site strong in my opinion.Anyway, good stuff easy five stars and i includeva video to help.

I order this as I am often having to find the angle of something that I'm building or fixing into place and in the past I have had to use a small protractor which isn't really that reliable so it was very much a guessing game when it came to cutting a piece of board etc'.On opening, I was very surprised at just how large this device is and the build quality is much better than I had been expecting. This has a good weight to it... and comes complete with the battery required for the display. The first time I used this was to align the uprights and bed on my new 3D printer build which has to be set at 90 degrees to get the prints to have correct dimensions. Using this made the task so much easier than messing around with a protractor or set square, lol.When using this device, the display turns on and shows the angle at which the movable rule is opened to, as the rule is moved the display changes instantly showing exactly what angle I have set. Once I have the angle required there is a small thumb screw which can then be tightened which will then hold the rule in place so it can be used to set the same angle on whatever I'm working on.Another great idea is that the display can be reset to zero so if I am measuring an upright that needs to be set to 90 degrees from the base then I can set that first but then if I need a different angle to be measured again from the upright once that is set, I can just press a button to set the display to zero and then move the rule to where the second angle needs to be and get a reading for the next angle required without having to add or subtract myself on a piece of paper which often means putting my tools down, doing the sums and then having to start at the next stage again.I tested this against my old printer that I had setup using my old protractor, pen and paper method and found that my old settings were 4 degrees out which might not sound a lot but even this small error makes a big difference when it comes to printing or making something that needs to fit precisely and when using this digital angle finder I did the same job in a fraction of the time.This is a well built precision tool with numerous uses and easy, precise measurements.Recommended.
